After listening and watching this video what must have been 15 times in a row, becoming completely obsessed and utterly enthralled, I woke up today to see one of my favorite things, a Shlohmo remix. And guess who he took on this time? These guys, Purple. Not only is this original some of the most beautiful and mesmerizing music I've heard since maybe The Weeknd, well Shlohmo goes and gives us what he does best, an ever darker version. As if I'd thought that would even be possible with this one, Shlohmo goes and proves it, bringing the listener down deeper and further, in to what makes me feel as though I'm walking through a dungeon, at the bottom of the club, pitch black, with bodies rolling over one another, and this sound throbbing the sound system. Fuck. I just can't get enough....

First is first, you're here, so you're already doing something right. Value Meal is a site dedicated to new, old, and recent music always with an emphasis in the world of electronic....or hip-hop.... or sex.....or whatever I want. I love me some bass, some 808's, and most importantly....vision. That said, I do love the beautiful side of music as well. I'm a dj and professional fun haver/provider. I'm a giver, ya know? After just recently moving to the beautiful San Francisco, makin boobies bounce and booties jiggle is the main priority. I have loved beats/percussion for as long as I can remember, and I'm happy to share my thoughts with all of you out there. Ready? Now get it.

graduate of Fort Lewis College with a major in Art Education. He
teaches by day, folds burritos in the afternoon, and rocks the jamz at
night. Benjamin K has been living in Durango for the past 8 years,
originating from Pueblo, CO. What started off as a house party and
bedroom dj project has now escalated to one of the best known djs
around. He has played everywhere with a sound system and always brings the party. He's shared the stage with the likes of J.Phlip, Brenmar, Christian Martin, Eliot Lipp, Ardalan, Ana Sia, Michael Menert, Fort Knox 5, Dj Abilities, and every local in between. With a wide library and vast knowledge of music varying from jackin house to old school breaks to bass driven electronica to O-face hip-hop he plays what makes the feet hop and booties drop.
